Casa dos Ventos, a reference in renewable energy and a protagonist in Brazil's energy transformation, and Ascenty, the largest data center company in Latin America, have just signed the largest renewable energy contract in a self-production model for data centers in Latin America. The agreement, worth over half a billion dollars , provides for the supply of 110 average megawatts (MWm).
The contractual model establishes Ascenty's equity participation in two Casa dos Ventos projects. Both are under development, with an expected operational start in 2027. Together, the projects have an installed capacity of over 1.5 GW.

The configuration of the link, with different renewable sources, expands operational flexibility and contributes to Ascenty's more robust energy planning throughout the contract period. The partnership with Casa dos Ventos will enable the company to avoid the emission of approximately 5 million tons of CO2 in the coming years.
