Casa dos Ventos has achieved, for the fourth consecutive year, the Gold Seal from the Brazilian GHG Protocol Program, the main international reference for preparing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions inventories. The program is responsible for adapting the best practices of the GHG Protocol method to the Brazilian context and for developing calculation tools for estimating greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
The Gold Seal is the result of a concrete and systemic process, reflecting Casa dos Ventos' commitment to the highest level of recognition granted by the program, intended for organizations that publish complete inventories for Scope 1 (direct emissions), Scope 2 (consumed energy), and Scope 3 (value chain), with verification carried out by an independent third party. This achievement reinforces the company's commitment to transparency and rigor in climate management within the renewable energy sector.
In the inventory for the base year 2025, CDV expanded the measured Scope 3 categories from 2 to 7. This advancement means more traceability regarding where our value chain generates climate impact, and greater rigor in how we identify and manage risks that go beyond our own assets.
This result is a fruit of increasingly structured climate data management, built upon continuously improved internal processes. Accurately measuring emissions is considered our starting point and serves as the basis for the company's climate strategy in the wind and solar energy sector in Brazil.
